VIRTUAL 5k and 1 -Mile Fun Run

from Sept. 1 – Sept. 19, 2020!

What is a Virtual Run/Walk

We encourage you to get moving, promote health and wellness, and participate virtually in our run and walk. You can participate outside or from the comfort of your own treadmill. Participants are invited to use the free ItsYourRace app to track their run, or you can use any GPS watch or smartphone app (FitBit, MapMyRun, Runkeer, Strava, etc.) then report your time online. By registering, we assume you will complete the 5K distance (3.1 miles) or the 1-mile at one time/in one go.

Prizes will still be awarded to the largest team, top fundraising team and the most spirited individual! So grab your gear, dress in 70’s attire and get out there to show your support for the families and children of the Ronald McDonald House of Nashville!

Submit your time and don’t forget to send us your photos! You can also post your photo on social media and tag RMHC of Nashville using @rmhcnashville and the hashtags #Hustle2020, #HustleFromYourHome and #RMHCNashville. Please send photos or videos to amy@rmhcnashville.com to be included in our virtual finish line video!

Registration Prices

$35: 1-Mile, 5K and Spirit Runner*

$10: Fido

*Individuals who have already registered for the run will automatically be transitioned to a virtual runner.

Unless you select the option to have your goody bag mailed, registered participants must pick up their goody bag during the McDonald’s Packet Pickup Days at the Nashville Ronald McDonald House (2144 Fairfax Ave). Email amy@rmhcnashville.com with the date you'd like to pick it up and your packet will be waiting for you on the front porch.

When to Run
Run yor race whenever you want from September 1 - September 19, 2020! All finishers who upload their result to the Virtual Submission Platform will earn a finisher shirt and medal. These items will be available to pick up (location and date TBA) or we will ship them to you.

Your “Course”

Participants will be able to complete the 5K run or 1-mile walk wherever they want while following the safety measures that have been laid out by your local government regarding COVID-19! You can choose to run or jog in your neighborhood or at a park. If you want to get creative, you could even hike, walk your dog, or use your treadmill to complete the 5K (3.1 miles) or 1-mile.

For participants who have done our race in the past, we encourage you to wear your favorite Hustle for the House shirt, RMHC of Nashville shirt or hat, volunteer T-shirt or even red and white stripped socks to show your support!

Fund the Run

Sponsorships – Ranging from $200 to $10,000, these sponsorship packages allow your company name to be associated with the Hustle for the House 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run throughout this virtual event! Start a Fundraising Team – Fundraising for RMHC families has never been easier! As one of our largest events of the year, we count on the funds raised from the Hustle to support the families who depend on us. Since this is a virtual event this year, this option will be crucial in helping us achieve our goal of $40,000. Team pages are easy to build as you register!

Not a runner, jogger or walker, no problem! You don’t need to be a registered runner, jogger or walker to become a fundraiser.

Corporate Matching Program – As an employer, you may choose to pay for all or a portion of your employees’ entry fee or provide matching funds for the entry fees and/or pledge dollars they raise. This is a great way to show your corporation’s commitment to families of critically ill children.

In-Kind Sponsorship – We accept goods and services on a case-by-case basis.
